Dr. Vanessa Jackson completed her PhD at the age of 32 years from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology, Cape Town, South Africa. She is currently a Senior Lecturer in the Biotechnology Programme in the Department of Biotechnology and Consumer Science at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology. She has published 18 peer­reviewed accredited scientific publications as both main and co-author and is supervising several Masters and PhD students. To date, she has presented 12 poster presentations and 7 oral presentations at both local and international conferences.

Ahmed Hegazi is currently a Professor of Microbiology and Immunology in the National Research Center, Egypt. Prof. Hegazi received his master’s degree in 1979, and his PhD in 1981. Hegazi's research work has been focused lately on bee products and their therapeutic effects. Dr. Hegazi awards; First Class Decoration of Excellence, Egypt, 1995, The Senior Scientist Prize of National Research Center, Cairo, Egypt, 1996, The National Scientific Prize In Biological Sciences, Egypt, 1990, The Scientific Prize of The National Research Center, Cairo, Egypt, 1989, The Second Best Research Paper Award, International Congress of Propolis, Bones Aires, Argentina, 2000, Main Speaker Award,10th Academic Conference, PRA and NAS (Nippon Apitherapy Soc.) Japan, 2006, 2 Bronze medals from The International Innovation Fair of the Middle East, Kuwait, 2007 Awarded of Ghazi Wad Allah Salon Prize, 2008. Awarded the Merit Aware of Medical Sciences, The National Research Center, 2016. Dr. Hegazi contributed Chairman of the National Committee for Microbiological Sciences (NCMS) in Egypt, Academy of Science and Technology, Egypt, from 2018. Hegazi organized and contributed to national and international research projects since 1977 and up till now; he has been the principal investigator on multiple research projects within the National Research Center. He Conducted training courses on Clinical Microbiology, National Research Center in 1979. He has 242 articles in national and international scientific journals. Editor in 48 journals, Referee in the 98 International Journals, Organizer of 114 International Symposium and conferences, His publications: 233 articles in national and international scientific journals, 9 books in English language and 13 books in Arabic language. Dr Yamuna Sundram has completed her PhD while she was teaching at MISKL as an educator, her MSc is from INFORMM, USM and her BSc from AIMST university, Malaysia. She has 10 years’ experience in Molecular Biology and Pharmaceutical techniques and practices. She has attended and presented many research papers Internationally and World conferences in UK, China, India and Thailand, she has visited Nanjing (China) for the research of Mycobacterium tuberculosis disease detection using Biochip technology and collected patient data form China Population for the studies during her career as a research scientist at Olipro Biotechnology, Malaysia. Recently, she was successful in winning the’ Outstanding Scientist and Edupreneur of the Year Award 2021 from Women Icon powered by the World Women Council and affiliated with Times Women. She was an awardee of many other world-recognized awards from her publications. In the year 2018, she was awarded a best research paper award and best presenter awards in the International conferences. She is also a Fellow of Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC), UK and Fellow American Society, USA, OMICS groups research publications, member of Malaysian Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.

Biography

Presently I am working as an Assistant Professor (Environmental Science) in the Department of Higher Education, Govt. of Jammu and Kashmir, besides being the Founder and President of Acade-my of EcoScience. I teach courses in Environmental Science and Disaster Management. I have a doctorate in Environmental Sci-ence from the University of Kashmir and my doctoral dissertation examines the fungal diversity in a freshwater ecosystem with spe-cial reference to pathogenic species. I have a strong interest in studying the pathogenic aspects of different types of microorgan-isms as my PhD focused on the same issue. Moreover, in the uni-versity I also dealt with the antimicrobial and anthelmintic activi-ties of some endemic medicinal plants of Kashmir valley and oth-er applied microbiology aspects. Besides this I have got a speciali-zation in Vermicomposting as my M.Phil was focused on the same and Sediment Chemistry as I have done a dissertation work in my master on the sediment chemistry of Dal Lake. I have published many research articles in reputed, referred in-ternational and national journals. I have presented a paper at an international conference hosted by Faculty of Medicine, Depart-ment of Indigenous medicine, University of Colombo, Sri Lanka and many other national conferences hosted by many other agen-cies of the state and country. I was also invited by China Medicinal Biotech Association to deliver a lecture in 2nd Annual Symposium of Antiparasites (SAP-2012), Guangzhou, China.
