Ljiljana Trajkovic received the Dipl. Ing. degree from University of Pristina, Yugoslavia, the M.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering and computer engineering from Syracuse University, Syracuse, NY, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from University of California at Los Angeles. She is currently a professor in the School of Engineering Science, Simon Fraser University, Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada. Her research interests include communication networks and dynamical systems. She served as IEEE Division X Delegate/Director, President of the IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society, and President of the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society. Dr. Trajkovic serves as Editor-in-Chief of the IEEE Transactions on Human-Machine Systems and Associate Editor-in-Chief of the IEEE Open Journal of Systems Engineering. She served as a Distinguished Lecturer of the IEEE Circuits and System Society and a Distinguished Lecturer of the IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society. She is a Fellow of the IEEE.

Professor Dato’ Dr Shamala Subramaniam is a Professor in the Department of Communication Technology and Networks, Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, Universiti Putra Malaysia. She serves as the Chairman for Ph.D. and Master’s Thesis Supervisory Committee. She has a high number of cited publications in reputed high impact and indexed journals. She has authored Chapter (s) in book and lecture series. She has been recognized as a Member of Editorial Advisory Board in national and international journals. She has addressed keynote in several national and international conferences. She specializes in the area of wireless networks and distributed systems. She has secured a wide-spectrum of research grants encompassing from fundamental to applied. Prof Shamala’s research in integrating wireless and distributed into sports has resulted in the first Games Management System developed in partnership with the National Sports Council. The project known as iGames has evolved from being used domestically to cater one of the largest multi-sports Games to an international platform which was the South East Asia Games in Cambodia 2023. Subsequently, another research project known as the IoSRocks has been copyrighted and has been harnessed to become commercially viable. She has founded the startup U Empower Sdn Bhd through the university program known as Innohub which is aimed at transcending research to the commercialization domain. Prof Shamala is very passionate about sports. She represented the national women’s hockey team and has served in many national and international administrative sports positions. She also won the Olympic Council of Malaysia Women in Sports Award, was awarded the Asian Hockey Federation Order of Merit and the President’s Award.

Associate Professor Dr. Asral Bahari Jambek is the head of the Universiti Malaysia Perlis’ Centre of Excellence for Micro System Technology (MiCTEC). He is also a member of the Faculty of Electronic Engineering Technology at Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP), where he served as the Program Chairperson for the Electronics Engineering Degree Programme. He has over 20 years of experience in both industry and academia in the design of very large-scale integration (VLSI) circuits and systems. He is an active member of the IEEE Circuit and System Society (CAS), serving as Vice Chair of the Malaysia Chapter. His research interests include the development of low-energy algorithms and architecture for ultra-portable devices. This includes circuits and systems for Internet of Things (IoT) device, system-on-chip, signal/image/video processing, and data compression.

Dwi Pebrianti has been an Assistant Professor at the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) since 2022. Previously, she was a senior lecturer at Universiti Malaysia Pahang, Malaysia in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering from 2013 until 2022. After receiving her Philosophy Doctor in Artificial System Science from Chiba University, JAPAN in 2011, Dwi continued working as a Post-Doctoral researcher in Graduate School of Engineering, Chiba University, Japan until 2012. Currently, she is a Senior Member of The Institution of Electrical & Electronics Engineers (SMIEEE) under the Control And Systems Society (CAS) and Industry Application Society (IAS). She is acknowledged as an Executive Professional Engineer (IPU) from The Institution of Engineers Indonesia (PII). She is a Principal Investigator for 12 projects and Co-researcher for 21 projects nationally and internationally. Dwi is also an active writer with more than 100 indexed publications.

Rodziah Atan is currently an Associate Professor at Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, Universiti Putra Malaysia. Her current research deals with healthcare database quality, software processes in cloud computing, edge computing technology and service level agreement management and monitoring. She commercialized some of her research products with the collaborators from industry and other institution of higher learning within and outside Malaysia. As an academician, she published and edited books, chapter in books, journal publications and conference papers. She gave keynote speeches in several international conferences, forums and colloquiums. She has been appointed as panel assessor in workshops, subject matter expert, and served as indexed journal and conference reviewer for local and international publishers. She is a Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) by International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) since 2021 and a certified trainer for Halal Executive training under the Malaysia’s Halal Professional Board since 2017.

Dr. Ibrahim Kucukkoc is an Associate Professor in the Industrial Engineering department at Balikesir University (Turkey) where he has been a faculty member since December 2009. He completed his Ph.D. at the University of Exeter (UK) in 2015 upon completing his thesis on modelling and optimization of complex assembly lines (funded by a 4-year scholarship from Turkish Council of Higher Education). His research interests lie in the area of modelling and optimization of modern manufacturing systems (assembly line balancing in particular), production planning of additive manufacturing machines and application of modern algorithms on sophisticated combinatorial optimization problems. He has collaborated actively with researchers in several other disciplines, such as computer science and mechanical engineering. His publications appeared in various esteemed journals including European Journal of Operational Research, Computers & Operations Research, International Journal of Production Economics, International Journal of Production Research, Computers & Industrial Engineering and Production Planning & Control. His research has been cited more than 1400 times (based on Scopus metrics) by national and international scholars

Dr. Ng Yin Hoe received his Bachelor of Engineering (first-class honors) in Electronics, Master of Engineering Science (Telecommunications), and Ph.D. (Telecommunications) from Multimedia University, Malaysia in 2004, 2008, and 2013, respectively. He is a Chartered Engineer (CEng) registered with Engineering Council United Kingdom and Professional Technologist (P.Tech) registered with Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT). Dr. Ng is currently a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Engineering, Multimedia University, Malaysia. As the lecturer in Multimedia University, he has coordinated and taught various undergraduate and postgraduate subjects. He also actively supervises Ph.D. and Master research students. Apart from teaching, Dr. Ng has been playing significant roles in administrative duties. He was the programme coordinator of Master of Electrical and Electronics Engineering and currently he is the programme coordinator of Master of Science in Engineering Business Management.
